1. Board of Directors – BoD

The management and control of POLYCONNECT BHARAT LLPshall be vested in the Board of Directors (BoD), which comprises the original group of 'Desirous Persons' and any subsequent changes made in accordance with due procedure from time to time.

2. Meetings of the Board

Meetings shall be held at regular intervals, at a minimum once every quarter. These may take place in person typically alongside the Regional POLYCONNECT BHARAT LLP Meets or conducted online. All Board members are expected to attend in person whenever possible. Special Board meetings may be convened as needed by the Executive Committee or the Executive Director, with proper authorization.

3. Annual Board Meeting

The Annual Board Meeting shall coincide with the Annual POLYCONNECT BHARAT LLP Conference. Attendance in person is required for all Board members.

4. Eligibility for Board Membership

To be eligible for nomination to the Board of Directors, a candidate must:

• Be an owner, officer, or hold a top management level within a POLYCONNECT BHARAT LLP member company ingood standing.
• If not the owner, the candidate must provide a written letter of support from their company, acknowledging and supporting their participation in terms of time and expenses.

5. Path to Membership

A prospective member must demonstrate active involvement and commitment to POLYCONNECT BHARAT LLP mission and activities by:

• Demonstrate active engagement and leadership within a POLYCONNECT BHARAT LLP Committee.
• Demonstrating sustained support and contribution for a minimum period of two years.
• Being recommended by a current Executive member.

6. Committees

Committees are established by the Executive Committee to execute targeted initiatives. Committee members may be invited to participate in Board meetings at the Annual Conference, Regional Meets, and through teleconferences.

7. Resignation Protocol

An Executive member may resign at any time by submitting a written resignation to the Board, typically due to personal reasons. Any member who is no longer actively engaged in the polymer industry in India must also tender their resignation.
